
FAQ - When getting a puppy bred by Apple-Jacks
What to feed - Our adult dogs are fed on a raw diet, our puppies are weaned onto Purina Pro Plan puppy food, all our puppies leave with a bag of food to last them 2-3 weeks.

Vaccinations - All our puppies have their first vaccinations prior to leaving us, our vet uses Novibac DHP L4, this will require a booster vaccination 4 weeks (28 days) from the first vaccination, any puppies still with us at 12 weeks old will have had the full course completed.

Micro-chip - All our puppies are microchipped by our vet at the time of their vaccinations, once you have collected your puppy this will be transferred into your name.

Worming & Flea treatment - We worm our puppies every 2 weeks from 2 weeks old, we use Panacur and Drontal puppy wormer.
​
Puppy training - Puppies are pad trained and have some experience of toileting outside, but are not fully house trained.

When can puppies leave home - None of our puppies will leave us until they are a minimum of 8 weeks old and have had their first course of vaccinations and vet health check, Please do not make arrangements to collect until we have confirmation of our vet check and vaccination date as sometime our vets are busy, so this means the puppies may not be able to visit our vet until a few days later.

How much are our puppies - Our Cocker spaniel puppies are from £2000, Our Border Terrier puppies are from £1850, and our Golden Retriever puppies are from £1950, With a deposit of £500 required to reserve a puppy. ​​

Waiting List & Reservations - We run a waiting list for our up and coming litters, you are welcome to fill out the waiting list application form, if you would like to be added to the waiting list for our future litters, we ask for a non refundable waiting list deposit of £100, once puppies arrive, we will the notify our families on our waiting list in order, viewings are invited from 3 weeks old, once you have chosen a puppy, we require a £500 deposit to reserve a puppy.

I'm not quite ready for a puppy - We all have busy lives, with work commitments, children and holidays booked, we are more than happy to keep your chosen puppy with us until they have received their 12 weeks booster vaccination, and longer if needed.
Can you look after my puppy while we are away or in hospital? - We are happy to have any puppy bred by ourselves to come back to stay with us in our home at any time for their holidays or emergency care.

Do you rehome to other countries? - Yes absolutely, we export our puppies worldwide, we can make all the necessary arrangements for Pet Passports, Travel health certificates, Rabies vaccination, pre travel health checks etc, this incurs an extra charge of £550 regardless of where in the world you are, flights, couriers and delivery are at extra cost.

Do you deliver? - Yes, we do, we can deliver our own puppies anywhere in the UK, we love to be able to see where our puppies are going to live, we offer a door to door delivery service at cost, prices are £50 flat rate, plus 0.97p per mile, this covers anywhere in the UK, including to Airports, ferry ports etc please contact us for a full delivery quote.
